Deirdre R. Sears, 42, of Scranton, PA., died Tuesday morning, September 18, 2007 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. She was the wife of the late David Howell. Born February 14, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Camillia Jones Sears. Deirdre was raised and educated in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York and attended college in Scranton. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one brother: Robert Sears and her paternal grandmother: Millie Sears both of Chesapeake, VA. She was preceded in death by one brother: Richard Sears. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. At the request of the family no services were planned. Arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
