Obituary

Deborah L. Catanzaro, 59, of East Berlin, PA. and formerly of Carbondale, PA., died Thursday February 14, 2013 at Hanover Hospital, Hanover, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Catanzaro who died on October 18, 2008. Born November 7, 1953 in Rahway, NJ., she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Whittam Keenan. She enjoyed traveling, attending fairs and shopping. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to raising her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by three loved and cherished daughters: Annette Murphy and husband Bennie of Harrington, DE, Tammy Prebich and husband James of East Berlin, PA. and Michelle Catanzaro and companion Afro Josefino of Harrisburg, PA.; nine grandchildren: Alexa, James Jr., Alyssa, Archie, Daniel, Yasmin, Bennie Jr., Aracelli and Lucius; one great grandson: Brayden; her step mother: Frieda Keenan of Florida; one sister: Karen Webb of Florida; two brothers: Richard Spreen and Gray Keenan both of Florida; many adoring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: John Keenan, Jr. The funeral was held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Pastor Peg Knapich, rector of the Clifford and Lenoxville United Methodist Churches, officiating. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Archie Seth, Daniel Lomax, James Prebich, Jr., David Antoine, Anthony Catanzaro, David Catanzaro, Richard Spreen and Afro Josefino. Friends called Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 5-8 PM. Funeral Service 10:00 am Friday, February 22, 2013 Carmine J. & Louis C.
