Dean C. Scott, age 76, of RD 1, Forest City, PA., died early Wednesday morning, June 8, 2005 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. His wife was the former Elizabeth (Liz) Evanishyn.
Born February 19, 1929 in Portland, OR. He was the son of the late Alexander and Mildred Scott.
He was of the Baptist Faith and was a Director of Environmental Services for Crothal Industries in Reading, PA. for over 25 years. He enjoyed and lived for his job.
His two favorite caregivers were his two youngest grandsons Kyle and Cody Scott.

He is survived by one son: Dean F. Scott of RD 1, Forest City, PA.; three step sons: George Zuk, II. of Brewerton, NY., Joseph Zuk of Newton Lake, PA. and Michael Zuk of RD 1, Forest City, PA.; one step daughter: Cheri Zuk of Yonkers, NY.; 9 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by one step grandson: George Zuk, III.
A memorial service was held Friday, June 10, 2005 at 8:00 pm in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with the Rev. Dan Henwood, pastor of the Finch Hill Baptist Church, Greenfield Twp., PA., officiating.
Cremation took place at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
Friends called Friday from 6-8 PM.
