David S. "Scott" Tigue, of Scranton, PA, died Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Geisinger CMC Hospital, Scranton, PA. He is survived by his companion of many years, Rose Griffin of Scranton, PA.

He was born March 7, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii to David L. Tigue of Old Forge, PA.

David graduated from West Side High School, Scranton, and recently worked as a door greeter for Walmart. He also worked as a machine mechanic for Parodi Cigars and was a delivery person for numerous local businesses. Career was not his passion in life, it was the people. He strived to care for those closest to him, often sacrificing to make others happy. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his children: David Tigue, Jr. of Clarks Summit, PA, Cassie Thomas and husband, Jarret of Gilbert, AZ, Kassandra Lynn Griffin and Bridgette Griffin both of Scranton, PA, and Taylor Griffin of Augusta, GA; brothers: Darin Tigue of Tunkhannock, PA, William Tigue of Lenox, PA, and Christopher Tigue of Mountain Top, PA; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren: David, Sage, Haven, Amari, Aspen, and lastly his special angel Aliyah;

Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
