Darryl L. Barney, 33, of Carbondale, PA., died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at home. He was the husband of the former Sarah Lambert. They were married on July 1, 2000. Born November 7, 1975 in Browns Mills, NJ., he was the son of the late Darryl and Gloria Ann (Bossick) Barney, Sr. He was a graduate of the Carbondale Area High School and the Scranton Vo-Tech. He was currently employed as a truck driver for Dimare Fresh Produce in Scranton.Darryl was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was an experienced mechanic who was very innovative and could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing especially with his daughter Courtney. He adored his children and they were very fond of him. He was also a former member of the Coal Crackers Car Club. He will be deeply missed by his family and his beloved pet boxer Shelby. He is survived by one son: Walker Bintliff of Forest City, PA.; two daughters: Courtney Lee Barney and Kristen Marie Barney both at home; four sisters: Sarah Spratt of Crystal Lake, PA., Gloria Maddage of Carbondale, PA., Francine Barney of Jermyn, PA. and Mary Brown of Clifford, PA.; his step father: Jeffrey Barney of Union Dale, PA.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank (Rodi) and Ann Perry of Carbondale, PA.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by several adopted family members including: Warren (Snapper) and Rosemarie Bintliff of Richmondale, PA., Marie Elena Bintliff of Dickson City, PA. and Bekki Hagan of Forest City, PA.The funeral was held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale., with Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale, officiating. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Friends called Friday, December 5, 2008 from 4-8 PM
