Daniel “Danny” Valentin, 35, entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, just two days before his 36th birthday.
Danny was born on August 12, 1990, at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. He was truly one of the most loving and kindhearted souls. Danny had a special way of making those around him smile and ensuring that everyone in his presence felt loved. His gentle spirit, joyful personality, and the unconditional love he gave to others will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In his younger years, Danny enjoyed basketball and had a special love for toys that made noises and lit up much like Danny himself, who brought so much light and joy into this world during his time here. Danny shared a particularly close bond with his sister, Melissa, and treasured the time he spent with his nieces and nephew. He found happiness in life’s simplest moments, and those ordinary moments became some of the most meaningful memories for the people who loved him.
Danny also loved food, especially anything made by his grandmother, Donna. He spent much of his life by her side, enjoying countless car rides together and, in true Danny fashion, happily keeping Grandma at his beck and call. Their relationship was filled with a lifetime of love, companionship, and memories that will forever be treasured.
Danny leaves behind his mother, Tracie Valentin; his grandparents, Donna Valentin and Elias Garcia; his sister, Melissa McWilliams, and her husband, Sean McWilliams; his nephew, Colten Wilczewski; and his nieces, Ophelia and Boston McWilliams. He is also survived by his aunts, Doniela Valentin, Christina Valentin, and Hope Navarro; his uncles, George Valentin and Freddy Valentin; as well as several cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
Danny was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jorge Valentin. We find comfort in knowing that those who went before him were there to welcome him home.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Danny on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with funeral services beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Danny’s life was a beautiful reminder that some of the greatest joys can be found in the simplest things—a favorite meal, a car ride, something that lights up and makes noise, time spent with family, and making the people around you smile. Though his time here was far too short, the love and light Danny brought into this world will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8
Until we meet again, Danny, may you rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord, surrounded by the same love and light that you so freely gave to everyone here on Earth.
