Craig W. Cummings, 47, of Wilkes Barre, PA, died peacefully New Year's Eve, December 31, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes Barre, surrounded by his family and friends from complications due to a brain tumor. His partner of 19 years is Robert Karmonick of Wilkes-Barre. They were married August 22, 2015. Born July 3, 1968 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Harold W., Sr. and Louise A. Robinson Cummings. Craig was a 1986 graduate of Carbondale Area High School and worked at the Pioneer Bank in Carbondale for 12 years as bank manager. He currently worked in the credit and collections department at Core-Mark, Hanover Township, PA for 15 years. He was of the Catholic faith and loved traveling, gardening and landscaping at his home. He enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas and his cats. His greatest joy was spending time with his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew. He is survived by three brothers: John Cummings, Sr. of Waymart, PA, Paul Cummings of Carbondale, PA and James Cummings of South Canaan, PA; six nieces and nephews: John Cummings, Jr., Stacey Lutkowski, Samantha Hayden, Sharlene Cummings, Jared Cummings and Shauna Cummings; a great nephew: Khamron Harper; two great nieces: Emma Cummings and Peyton Lutkowski; a long time friend: Joe Kish of Warrior Run, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Cummings, Jr. The funeral was held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. John C. O'Bell, pastor and Deacon Edward Casey. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA. Pallbearers: John Cummings, Jr., Jared Cummings, Tim Toolan, Michael Coleman, Paul Griffiths and Robert Kioski.
