Coreena L. Sunbury, 43, of Childs, PA. and formerly of New Jersey, died early Tuesday morning, August 2, 2011 at the Ascera Care Hospice Unit at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, PA. Born June 10, 1968 in Newark, NJ., she is the daughter of Lewis E. and the late Diane Steele. She was a graduate of Nutley High School, Nutley, NJ. and worked in the medical field as a medical assistant. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by one daughter: Destiny Ortega a fiance Josh Sawransky; one son: Hunter Sunbury; one sister: Donna Sunbury; two brothers: Ron McWhirr and wife Debbie and Billy Sunbury and wife Justine; one grandson: Hayden Sawransky; several nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc, Carbondale, PA.
