Consuelo Connie Bronson, age 83, of Sayreville, NJ., died Wednesday morning, October 28, 2009 at the Mercy Hospice Inpatient Unit, Scranton, PA. Born September 26, 1926 at the summer home of her parents in Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elena (Puga) Agra.She was a citizen of Spain and came to the United States with her family in 1930, settleing in Manhattan. In 1955 she moved to the Grant City section of Staten Island, New York until relocating to Sayreville, New Jersey in 1994. She was a graduate of New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, New York and earned a bachelor's degree in science and psychology at the College of Staten Island. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she had been employed as a secretary for the former city Board of Education at PS 60 in Graniteville. She was a parishoner of St. Christopher's R.C. Church in Grant City. She enjoyed reading and writing. She is survived by one daughter: Toni Lynn DeLucia of Scott Township, PA.; one sister: Helen Siciliano; 5 Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one son: Stephen Bronson who died in 1979.The funeral was held Monday, November 2, 2009 from Hanley Funeral Home, Staten Island, NY., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM in St. Christopher's R.C.
