Constance T. McAllister, age 56, of Greenfield Township, PA., died early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton, PA. She was the wife of 37 years to Carl J. McAllister. Born June 9, 1956 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marie (Larosa) Maciuska. Connie worked at Wal Mart, Dickson City, PA., for ten years and was a member of the Elkdale Baptist Church of West Clifford, PA. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo and games. She was a kind and loving person who gave to everyone. She had a heart of gold, was a great person to be around and would bring you up when you were down. She always knew what to say and could make anyone smile with her bubbly personality. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by two daughters: Dawn Marie McAllister and Stacy Lynn Franklin, both of Greenfield Township, PA.; one son: Carl T. McAllister of Greenfield Township, PA.; six grandchildren: Samantha, Tia, Summer, Dustin, Journey and Timmy; one sister: Victoria Knick of Tompkinsville, PA.; three brothers: Stanley Maciuska of Dundaff, PA., Joseph Maciuska of Jermyn, PA. and John Maciuska of California; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Edward Maciuska. The funeral was held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Elkdale Baptist Church of West Clifford, PA., celebrated by Rev. Frank Bissol, pastor. Cremation followed the service. Family and friends called Saturday from 1-2 pm at the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
