It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Paul Johnson, Jr., who was fondly called "J.R.", and passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2025 at the age of 61 in Orwigsburg, PA.

J.R. was a beloved father to his only child, Damon Paul Johnson. He is also survived by his four siblings and a large extended family, including many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. J.R. was predeceased by his parents, Clifford Paul Johnson, Sr., and Lois L. (Simpson) Johnson and three siblings.

While the circumstances surrounding J.R.'s passing were unfortunate, his life will be remembered fondly by his family and friends who knew him best. J.R. was known for being the life of the party, a diehard Pennsylvania Blue Stone quarryman, and his infamous grilled chicken BBQ. He will be deeply missed.

A private family service will be held. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
