Obituary

Clement Kunchick, 85, of Olyphant, PA, died Friday, March 14, 2025 at Aventura at Creekside, Carbondale, PA. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Casey.

Born July 3, 1939 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late John and Olga Rydzanich Kunchick.

Clem was a graduate of Olyphant High School and served in Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany. He was a former member of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Olyphant.

Clem was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at the shooting range on Archbald Mountain. He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs and his granddaughter was the apple of his eye.

He is also survived by one daughter: Maureen Kunchick and husband, Christopher White of Clarks Summit, PA; one granddaughter: Anissa Kunchick; one sister: Patricia Bozym of Olyphant, PA; one brother: Matthew Kunchick of Peckville, PA; and nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore, PA.
