Clayton H. MacDonald age 81, formerly of Carbondale, died Tuesday morning, June 11, 2002 at Osprey Ridge Health Care Center, Carbondale.
Born June 25, 1920 in Endicott, NY. He was the son of the late Leo and Bertha (Tingley) MacDonald.
He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Archbald. Proir to his retirement he was an automobile mechanic for Hornbeck Chevrolet of Carbondale for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson. He loved animals and fixing cars.
He is survived by one daughter: Sharon Wilbur of Kingsley, PA.; one sister: Ada Jeramiah of Kingsley, PA.; 3 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson
He was preceded in death by one brother: Roger MacDonald; two sisters: Louida Cole, and Erima Todd
The funeral was held Friday, June 14, 2002 at 11:00 am in the West Lenox Baptist Church, RD 1, Kingsley, with the Rev. Lee Mead, pastor officiating. Interment, West Lenox Cemetery, Kingsley.
Viewing was held Friday 10:00 am until service time at the church.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford.
