Obituary

Clara M. Yarns age 98, formerly of Lenoxville, died Tuesday morning, December 3, 2002 at the Manor Care, Camp Hill, PA. She was the widow of Rehrig V. Yarns, who died in 1965. Born November 25, 1904 in Lenoxville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Vina (Decker) Miller. The first 90 years of her life were spent in Clifford Township where she was a member of the Clifford United Methodist Church and the ladies auxillary of the Clifford Township Volunteer Fire Company, the Lenoxville Senior Citizens, the Welsh Hill Grange and the Ruby Chapter #23 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one daughter and a son-in-law: Marilyn and Charles Sandell of New Cumberland, PA.; one brother: Howard Miller; one granddaughter: Rochelle; several nieces and nephews The funeral was held Friday, December 6, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with Rev. Linda Bryan, Pastor of the Clifford, Lenoxville and Tompkinsville United Methodist Churchs, officiating. Interment, Clifford Valley Cemetery, Clifford. Viewing was held Thursday, December 5, 2002 from 7-9.
