Clara Conforth, age 86, formerly of California and resided at the Carbondale Nursing Home for the past two days, died Monday afternoon, September 6, 2004 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, PA. Born October 29, 1917 in West Paterson, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Melgier) Fiorillo. She was a graduate of New Jersey Schools and attended two years of business college also in New Jersey. She resided most of her life in California. She is survived by two sisters: Adelaide Burns of Greenfield Township, PA. and Emenuella Fiorillo of Carbondale, PA.; Nieces Nephews A private graveside service was held Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. by Rev. Joseph Sitko, pastor of St. Pius X Church, Royal, PA. Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
