Clara P. Aton, age 83, of Lenoxville, PA., died Friday evening, June 30, 2006 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, PA., following an illness. Born July 10, 1922 in Factoryville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna H. (West) Aton. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a 1941 graduate of Harford High School. She was retired from the Waynesburg Youth Development Center in Waynesburg, PA. She was an avid fly fisherwoman. She is survived by one daughter: Dianna Terry Carros of Lenoxville, PA.; one son: William T. Terry, Sr. of Owego, NY.; one sister: Ann Sudlesky of Lenoxville, PA.; one granddaughter: Tracy Grimes of Pheonix, AZ.; two grandsons: Dennis Carros of Charlotte, NC. and William Terry, Jr. of Owego, NY.; 7 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild; Several Nieces Nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Sandra Terry and JoAnne Terry; one great granddaughter: Courtney Grimes; two brothers: Thomas and Lawrence Aton; two sisters: Marie Aton and Maebell Lewis A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Grace Lutheran Church, Hop Bottom, PA., with the Rev. Kim Bode, pastor, officiating. Cremation took place from Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Inurnment, Evergreen Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville, PA. Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
