Claire "Chubby" Wilk, 78, of Carbondale, PA, died Wednesday, February 16. 2022 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James J. Wilk. Born August 3, 1943 in Deposit, NY, she was the daughter of the late Geraldine and Ernest Terwilliger. She is survived by three children: Daniel Wilk and wife, Tracey of Harrisburg, PA, Barbara Narvid and husband, Matthew of Kingston, PA, and Joann Wilk and companion, Steve Zazzera of Carbondale, PA; five grandchildren: Jessica Narvid, Dr. Michael Narvid, Zachary Wilk, Joseph Wilk and Isabella Wilk; two sisters: Norma Wally and Rita Morris. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, 46 Midland Street, Simpson, PA, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Sitko.
