Claire A. Lee, 79, of Crystal Lake, PA, died Tuesday morning, June 22, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Booby" Lee on October 30, 1996. Born August 27, 1941 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Hazel Brooks Wall. Claire was a former resident of Flushing, New York and retired after 40 years of employment from Verizon in New York City. She and her husband were the proprietors of Lee's Inn on Main Street in Simpson, PA. Claire was a member of the ladies' auxiliary to the Albert H. Crane American Legion Post 221, Carbondale, PA. She is survived by a sister: Kathleen Trupia of New York; a brother: Dennis Wall of New York; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Terry Noonan and Denise Wall; and her longtime companion: William "Woody" Hammond. The funeral was held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
