Obituary

Charlotte Tatom, age 89, a former resident of the Ben Franklin Apartments, Carbondale, PA., died Thursday night, November 17, 2005 at the home of her granddaughter, Charlene Fournier in Temecula, California after an illness. She was the wife of the late Robert Tatom. Born July 10, 1916 in Archbald, PA., she was the daughter of the late William and Sophia Kierzkowsky Kruseski. She was a retired bank teller and had spent many years residing at home in Pennsylvania and with her family in California. She was of the Roman Catholic faith. She is survived by one daughter: Denise Battistella of Byrow, CA.; one sister: Philomena Bell of East Windsor, NJ.; one brother: Charles Kruseski of San Jose, CA.; 2 Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Alice Thomas and Pauline Vishinsky; two brothers: Joseph and Alexander Kruseski. As per her request she was cremated and her ashes scattered in Hawaii. Out of town arrangements are under the direction of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA.
