Charlotte Haser, 85, of Greenfield Township, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, J. Robert “Bob” Haser.
Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Paul and Jean (Milius) Carroll. Charlotte was a 1958 graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, West Scranton, and as class secretary organized decades of memorable reunions. She loved making various homemade crafts and sharing them with friends and family. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the casinos with Bob, either just going locally or taking trips to Connecticut and Niagara Falls. An animal lover all her life, her house was always full of dogs and cats that showed her equal affection.
She is survived by three sons: Gary Haser and wife, Renee, of Dunmore, PA; Joseph Haser, of Greenfield Township, PA, and Glenn Haser, of Archbald, PA; two grandsons: PJ and Andrew. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary Ann Kapral (Gary), of Tunkhannock, PA, Vincent Carroll (Terry), of Scranton, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Schuster and brother, Paul Carroll.
