Obituary

Charles H. Wildenberg, age 90, of Uniondale, PA., died Friday afternoon, May 20, 2005 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. His wife is the former Marjorie Corey. Born May 24, 1914 in Carbondale, PA. He was the son of the late Charles and Louise (Proctor) Wildenberger. He was a member of the Uniondale United Methodist Church. He was a 1932 graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and paint contractor for many years. He was a School Board Director for the Forest City School District for 12 years. He was a past master of the Mount Hermon Lodge # 472 FAM, Uniondale. He was also a life member of the Painters Paper Hangers Labor Union. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by one daughter: Patricia Peltz of Uniondale, PA.; one son: Henry of Uniondale, PA.; two brothers: Bruce of Williamsburg VA. and Richard of Cape Cod, MA.; 7 Grandchildren: Kevin, Keith, Nicole, Rusty, Stephanie, Raina Andrew; 2 Great Grandchildren: Logan Ashley; Several Nieces Nephews Preceded in death by one son: James; three sisters: Louise Carter, Marjorie Thorne and Florence McNeil The funeral was held Monday, May 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, with the Rev. Edwin Giles, pastor of the Uniondale United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment, Rounds Cemetery, Uniondale. Friends called Sunday, May 22, 2005 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Pallbearers: Hank Wildenberg, Andrew Wildenberg, Paul Wildenberger, Dick Wildenberger, Tom Snee and Chuck Thorne.
