Obituary

Charles B. Rosiak, 63, of Lake Carey, PA., died Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2009 at Kindred Hospital - Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA. His wife of 40 years is the former Charlene E. DeWolfe. Born October 4, 1945 in Fleetville, PA., he was the son of the late John Carl Rosiak and Irene VanFleet Rosiak Brown.He was a member of the Waverly Methodist Church, Waverly, PA. and was a graduate of Benton Township Schools. He was employed as a heavy machine operator for Clarks Summit State Hospital for 33 years and was the owner of the Pozy Pot, a floral shop which he operated from his home for 20 years.He enjoyed crocheting afghans and working with stained glass having made windows and lamp shades. He is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Rosiak of Factoryville, PA.; one grandson: Nicholas Zick of Factoryville, PA.; one sister: Sue Ann Stacknick of Fleetville, PA.; one brother: Carl Rosiak of Fleetville, PA.; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his step father: Everett Brown; one brother: Paul Rosiak.A memorial service will be held at a later date from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Clifford, PA. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be sent to the family where they will be forwarded to the charity of their choice.
