Obituary

Charlene E. DeWolfe Rosiak, 70, of resident of Nashville, GA for the past four years and formerly of Lake Carey, PA, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Charles B. Rosiak who died on May 7, 2009. Born September 19, 1943 in Nicholson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Irene Squier DeWolfe. She was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail School District and East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a retired teacher at the Lackawanna Trail School District and also did some private tutoring after her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, drawing, crosswords and bird watching. She is survived by a daughter: Jennifer Rosiak-Jilcott and husband Duane Jilcott and a grandson: Nicholas Zick all of whom she resided with; one brother: Lawrence DeWolfe and wife Phyllis of Nicholson, PA; one sister: Madeline Burgoon and husband Tom of Brooksville, KY; several nieces and nephews. As per Charlene's request she was cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Clifford, PA.
