Catherine Rohalevich, age 72, of Carbondale, PA. died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at the VNA Hospice Pallative Care Center of Lackawanna County Inpatient Unit at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. Born December 23, 1930 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Theodisa (Hamar) Rohalevich. She was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Burnett Casket Company of Carbondale for many years. She is survived by three sisters: Helen Rohalevich of Carbondale, PA., Anna Burry of Roselle Park, NJ. and Olga Ditchko of Clark, NJ.; one brother: Leon Rohalevich of Carbondale, PA.; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by two sisters: Alice Rohalevich and Mary Edwards A Private funeral service was held Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 10:00 am in the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Barry Jaggars, pastor of the New Life Assembly of God Church, Carbondale, officiating.
