Catherine M. Pellicano, age 61, of Carbondale, PA., died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, November 4, 2005 at home.
Born June 12, 1944 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of Anthony J. Pellicano, Sr. and the late Rose (Muto) Pellicano. Catherine is survived by her loving father Anthony and sister Mary Pellicano, with whom she resided and who for the past 18 years devoted their lives as her loving and primary caregivers.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Carbondale. She was a 1962 graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale. She worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Clarks Summit until 1972 and relocated to the Warwick, Rhode Island office in 1988.

She is also survived by five other loving siblings: one sister: Carolyn husband Martin Langan of Carbondale, PA.; four brothers: Anthony J., Jr. wife Roseann Pellicano of Brick, NJ., Joseph wife Barbara Pellicano of Dickson City, PA., Saverio Pellicano of Egg Harbor, NJ. and Michael wife Susan Pellicano of Olyphant, PA.; Eight Nieces Nephews whom she loved dearly and cared for as if they were her own children and in return they cherished and loved their Aunt Cathy who inspired them as the most beautiful and courageous caring aunt that one could ask for: Anthony Pellicano, III. of Brick, NJ.; Dr. Karen Langan of Annapolis, MD.; Jessica Bertocki of Dunmore, PA; Joseph Pellicano, Jr. of Mansfield, PA.; Michael Pellicano, Jr. of Brick, NJ.; Nicholas Pellicano of Sayre, PA.; Jennifer Pellicano of Dickson City, PA. and Samantha Pellicano of Egg Harbor, NJ.; Great Nephew: Tony Pellicano of Brick, NJ.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Rose Pellicano
The funeral was held Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp., PA.
Friends called Monday, November 7, 2005 from 4-8 pm.
