Caroline L. Krupovich, 79, of Clifford Township, PA, died Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Krupovich, who died October 10, 2011.

Born March 3, 1944 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Zedar Lavriha.

Carol was a graduate of Mountain View High School and retired after 30 years from Specialty Records. She was a faithful member of Ascension Parish, Forest City and prayed the rosary daily.

She was known for her strong work ethic, enjoyed gardening, cooking and could always be found on the dance floor singing her favorite song "Sweet Caroline". She loved Elvis, trips to the casino but most of all the time spent with her grandchildren.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, especially Donna, for all of their care to Carol during her stay.

She is survived by one daughter: Lynn Parise and husband, Jeffry of South Abington Township, PA; two sons: Joseph Krupovich and wife, Carrie of Clarks Summit, PA and Ryan Krupovich and wife, Christie of Gibson, PA; five grandchildren: Dylan and Colin Moran, Audrey, Shelby and Ryan Krupovich; a very special niece and close friend Margie Marquardt and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Lavriha and four sisters: Marion Medved, Agnes Brozonis, Dorothy Toth and Veronica Mayers.

The funeral was held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 9:15 a.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St Joseph's Church, Forest City, PA, celebrated by Rev.
