Carol K. Alleman, 60, of Thompson, PA., died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the Ascera Care Hospice Unit, Peckville, PA. Born April 13, 1949 in Bethlehem, PA., she is the daughter of Florence (Palermo) Flynn of Susquehanna, PA. and the late Edward Flynn.She was a former resident of Warren, PA and has resided in Thompson for the past seven years. Prior to her disability, she was a certified nurse's aid and a physical therapy aid having been employed by the Warren General Hospital. She was also a hospice volunteer in Warren and for the local Ascera Care Hospice. She was a member of the Thompson Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters: Shawna Alleman and Karie Dominick-Kolenda both of Thompson, PA.; one son: Rev. Timothy Alleman, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church of Franklin, PA.; one brother: Anthony Flynn of Russell, PA.; two grandchildren: Tristan Alleman and Alex Dominick both of Thompson, PA.A memorial service was held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Thompson Baptist Church, Thompson, with the Rev. John Sandau, pastor, officiating. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
