Carmine N. Perri, 64, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA. His wife of 13 years is the former Jennifer Hodorovich, and were married September 17, 2011. They have shared 27 wonderful years together.

Born July 16, 1960 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rosemary Rocco Perri.

Carm was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School. Following high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. He was a lifelong mason and recently worked for Stafursky Paving Company.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He enjoyed rides on his quad and his motorcycle. He also enjoyed flying remote control airplanes and playing guitar. His greatest joy was the time spent with his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Carm's special niece, Kylah Lowry, neighbors, Glen and Caroline Shifler and the staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center for their support to the family during this difficult time.

He is also survived by one daughter: Larissa Murray and husband, Daniel of Summit Hill, PA; two sons: Carmine Perri and wife, Jovanna of Carbondale, PA and Frankie Perri and companion, Courtney Smith of Jessup, PA; one step-son: Christopher Barchak; nine grandchildren: Gianna Gallo, Aria and Rosemary Perri, Caylen Murray and husband, Jacob, Kathryn and Karson Murray, Talia Perri, Briella and Frankie Perri; one great grandchild on the way; three brothers: Anthony Perri of Carbondale, PA, James Perri and wife, Patricia of Carbondale, PA and Ronald Perri and wife, Marlene of Carbondale, PA; two sisters: Frances Booths and husband, Russell of Waymart, PA and Amy Weber and husband, Ken of Scranton, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Nathaniel and Courtney Murray and a brother: Angelo Perri.

A blessing service with military honors was held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with Rev. Seth D. Wasnock, pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, officiating. Cremation followed.

Friends called Friday, November 29, 2024 from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations were made in Carm's name to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
