Carmen Wayne "Carmine" "Nuchie" Campbell, age 43, of Vandling, PA, died Friday, February 1, 2019 at home. Born July 18, 1975 in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late William, Jr. and Rose Caputo Campbell. Nuchie was a hair stylist for over 20 years and enjoyed working for numerous hair salons in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He loved crafts, writing poems to his family and doing impersonations of different accents. He truly loved to make people laugh. He was a devoted father to Jordan Campbell and girlfriend Caroline Kilgallon and Summer Campbell, all of Carbondale, PA. The light of his life was his grandson, Noah, who called him "Pop-Pop". He was also a devoted boyfriend to the love of his life, Jamie Walker of Vandling, PA. Carmen is survived by brothers: Joseph Campbell, Sr. of Waymart, PA and Douglas Campbell and wife Kathleen of Forest City, PA; sisters: Rose Campbell and partner of Forest City, PA and Emma Siggins of Carbondale, PA; four godsons: Hunter and Justin Fortier, Cordell and Zack Siggins and Tristan Grunewald; a cousin who was like a brother: George Fortier of Forest City, PA; his aunt and godmother Josephine Frame and husband Charles, who he affectionately called mom; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Orville "Michael" Campbell and William Campbell, III. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 9, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
