Bob Red Malinchak, age 68, of Crystal Lake, PA., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, April 5, 2006 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. His wife is the former Caroline Yachymiak.
Born April 25, 1937 in Jessup, PA. He was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Kutchmanick) Malinchak.
He was a self-employed logger for most of his life along with his friend and partner in business Donny Wood. He served in the National Guard for a short time. He loved spending time in the outdoors and with his family and friends. He enjoyed going to Flea Markets and was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one daughter: Kathy husband Pablo Givonnari of Tucson, AZ.; one son: Bob Malinchak of Crystal Lake, PA.; two sisters: Rose Mary Tootsie husband Phil Podhyski of Crystal Lake, PA. and Ann Gray of Crystal Lake, PA.; one grand daughter: Natalie Givonnari; Several Nieces Nephews
The funeral was held Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 9:00 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, Pa., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Pius X Church, Route 106, Royal, PA., celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, senior priest. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
Friends called Friday, April 7, 2006 from 7-9 PM.
