Betty Ann Puza, 54, of RR 1, Nicholson, PA., died Friday, February 17, 2006 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Florida. She was the wife of Charles Puza, Sr. Born April 28, 1951 in Archbald, PA. She was the daughter of the late Sidney J. and Rose Christopher Rushworth, Sr. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, PA. She is survived by five sons: James Rushworth of Meshoppen, PA., Charles Puza, Jr. of Carbondale, PA., Joseph Puza of Carbondale, PA., John Puza of Lenoxville, PA., and Stephen Puza of Carbondale, PA.; one daughter: Tracy and husband Richard Lombardo of Carbondale, PA.; two sisters: Theresa Swinarski of Richmondale, PA. and Diane Rushworth of Scranton, PA.; 19 Grandchildren; Several Nieces And Nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Sidney J. Rushworth, Jr. The funeral was held Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 8:45 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale., celebrated by Rev. William Campbell, senior priest. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from 2-4 7-9 PM Pallbearers: Angelo Roman, Charles Ferraro, Leo Newsome, Frank Castle, Michael and Robert Rushworth.
