Bette L. Rosler, 82, of Carbondale, PA., died Wednesday night, January 16, 2008 at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William Chilly Rosler, Jr., who died December 28, 1992.
Born November 10, 1925 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Allan S. and Evelyn (Harrison) Williams. She was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and retired from Weston in Archbald, PA., after 25 years of employment. The family would like to thank all the caregivers and friends who helped take care of Bette. She is survived by one son: William C. Rosler of Carbondale, PA.; two daughters: Bette Lou Mullisky and husband James of Carbondale, PA. and Mary Ellen Fife and husband William of Jermyn, PA.; seven grandchildren: Mary Lou Tolerico of Carbondale, PA., Brenda Kahn of Baltimore, MD., Karen Sirianni of Carbondale, PA., John Fife of Jermyn, PA., James Fife of Dallas, PA., Lance Rosler of Binghamton, NY. and Jameson Mullisky of Carbondale, PA.; seven great grandchildren: Joseph, Jr. and Jordan Tolerico, Tyler and Tessah Rosler, Benjamin and Alex Fife and Chelsea Castle; one sister: Janice Lukasevic of Summerville, SC.; Several Nieces Nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Williams. The funeral was held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Dr. Susan J. Ezell, pastor of the Moosic Presbyterian Church, officiating. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald. Inurnment, Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale, PA.
