Bentley Michael Smith, infant son of Sara Snyder and Lee Merton Smith, Jr. of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 shortly after birth at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA. Bentley's family was blessed to have him in their lives even if it was for only a short period of time. They now have a beautiful guardian angel overlooking each and every one of them. He is survived by three siblings: Cloe and Marcus Gudaitis and Noah Smith; paternal grandmother: Paula Sladicka-Miller of Carbondale, PA; paternal grandfather: Lee Merton Smith, Sr. of Lake Ariel, PA; maternal grandmother: Denise Zuzel of Moosic, PA; maternal grandfather: Michael Snyder of Florida; great grandmothers: Lucille Sladicka of Carbondale, PA and Stella Saranchuk of Moosic, PA; several aunts and uncles.
