Obituary

Benjamin Cuttler, age 90, a 5 year resident of The Laurels at Kingston, PA., died Saturday morning, July 28, 2007 at the nursing home. He was the husband of the late Jane E. Metzler. Born June 17, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Phillip and Ethel (Shulman) Cuttler. He was a former resident of Philadelphia and had resided in Kingston for the past 12 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a dock worker by the Sears Roebuck Company, Philadelphia. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Jewish faith. He is survived by one son: Andrew Lee Cuttler of New Franklin, MO.; one son-in-law: Walter DeBaecke of Kingston, PA.; Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter: Linda D. DeGrandis At the request of the family no services were held. Cremation took place from the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Carbondale, assisted the family with arrangements.
