Barbara J. McGrady, 60, a resident of Creekside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Carbondale, PA, died Monday, October 23, 2017 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. Born April 9, 1957 in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of the late John H. Baker, Sr. and the late Rosella Purgatorio Baker. She had formerly resided in Tafton, PA and had worked as an aide for Unity Ambulette, Liberty, NY. She is survived by two sisters: Terry Oates of Bloomingburg, NY and Donna Maher of Monroe, NY; one brother: John Baker, Jr. of Woodbourne, NY; several nieces and nephews. As per Barbara's request she was cremated. Inurnment, Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg, NY. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
