Audrey E. Appleman, 63, of Nicholson, PA., died unexpectedly Friday morning, June 29, 2007 at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock, PA. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, George E. Appleman. Born August 13, 1943 in Hop Bottom, PA., she was the daughter of the late Kennard Gramps and Irene Rollar. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Nicholson. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and for church functions. She was extremely proud of her heavenly blessings - her grandchildren. She was a dear friend to everyone who knew her and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by two daughters: Debbie Decker and Husband Jerry of New Milford, PA. and Gloria Steele of Nicholson, PA.; one sister: Barbara Henry of Hop Bottom, PA.; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Keith Gramps; one sister: Michele Garrison. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the First Presbyterian Church, State Street, Nicholson, with Rev. Margaret Hartman, pastor, officiating. Cremation took place from the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Clifford, PA., assisted the family with arrangements.
