Anthony J. Jacobino, Sr. age 53, of Carbondale, PA. died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at home.
Born December 28, 1949 in Carbondale, PA. He is the son of Eugenia (Turano) Jacobino, Carbondale and the late Michael V. Jacobino.
He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. He was a 1954 graduate of Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale. He was a self-empolyed carpenter for 25 years.
He is survived by: three sons: Anthony J. Jacobino, Jr. of Carbondale, PA., Michael Jacobino of Scranton, PA. and Salvatore Jacobino of Carbondale, PA.; two sisters: Rose Mary Dougherty of Auburndale, FL. and Lucille Norella of Waymart, PA.; one brother: Dominic Jacobino of Scranton, PA.; 4 Grandchildren; Aunts Uncles; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
The funeral was held Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 9:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose Of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, Assistant Pastor. Interment, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Carbondale.
Private viewing was held Saturday morning, June 7, 2003 from 8:00 to 9:00 am.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale. Pallbearers: Ronald Jacobino, Thomas Makosky, Chuck Ferris, Dominic Zazzera, Marty Dougherty and Jackie Molinaro.
