Anne (Mikolaichik) Janusz, 90, of Clifford Township, PA, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton, PA, after an illness. Born in Dundaff, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Rusiniak Mikolaichik. Anne was a 1947 graduate of Forest City High School and had been employed in the office of the Gift Box Corporation, Carlstadt, N.J., for many years. She was a dedicated and highly involved member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Dundaff. She was a member of the church's choir and was a former president of the church's counsel. Know by many as "Little Annie", she will be fondly remembered for being passionate in her beliefs, her hat's that she always wore in public and always having a camera in her hand taking pictures at all types of occasions. She was a terrific baker and was very creative at many different types of crafts, especially quilting. She is survived by a brother: Stephan Mikolaichik and wife Roberta of Youngstown, NY; a sister: Helen Hrichuk of Carbondale, PA; many nieces, nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: her twin, Mary Speakman and Catherine Jubinsky; two brothers: Basil Mikolaichik and infant Michael. The funeral was held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with a Requiem Service at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Dundaff, with Rev. Jason Franchak. Interment, parish cemetery, Dundaff. Pallbearers: Helen Hrichuk, Sharon Hopkins, Maria Braun, Jefferson Braun, David Mikolaichik and Joseph Semon Friends called Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
