Anna M. Wright, 84, of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday morning, March 16, 2023 at home, after an extended illness. She was the wife of James C. Wright, who died on April 14, 2013.

Born August 12, 1938 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Marshall Toms.

She is survived by two daughters: Edith Wright of Rome, PA, and Millie Rowe and husband, Joe of Carbondale, PA; several grandchildren, included her grandson and caretaker, Gary Davis; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Nancy Skeen and Rose Marie Boyles; three brothers: William, Walter and James Toms; and a half-sister: Mollie McAllister.

The funeral was held Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with Rev. Wayne Wolfe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale, officiating. Interment: Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
