Anna N. Rudo, age 80, of the Bayshore Mobile Manor, Hazlet, New Jersey, died Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2004 at the Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, New Jersey. She was the wife of Joseph Rudo who died October 29, 1979.
Born June 7,1923 in Union City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Elvira (Guancione) DeSalvia.
She was a member of the Keansburg United Methodist Church, Keansburg, New Jersey.
She is survived by three daughters: Patricia Matthews of Union Beach, NJ., Fran Lisa of Toms River, NJ. and Carmela Leitermann of Brick Town, NJ.; two sons: Ralph Sorrentino of Bud Lake, NJ. and Paul Tomaro of Forked River, NJ.; one brother: Nicholas DeSalvia of Matamoras, PA.; 12 Grandchildren including Joseph Persico who resided with and was raised by his grandmother; 3 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews
The funeral was held Monday, March 29, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home For Funerals, 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg, New Jersey, with the Rev. Barbara Novick, pastor of the Keansburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, New Jersey.
Friends called Sunday, March 28, 2004 from 4-7 pm.
Out of town funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Pallbearers: Joseph Persico, Michael Dolan, Thomas Dolan, Robert Dolan, John Lisa, and Robert Tomaro; all grandchildren.
