Anna Keyasko, age 92, of Carbondale, PA., died Saturday evening, July 20, 2013 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Frank V. Keyasko who died in 1985.
Born November 20, 1920 in Syracuse, NY., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anastazia (Wicherek) Prystash.
Anna had a very strong catholic faith and attended church everyday. She had a very kind and compassionate heart and prayed for many people in their time of need. The family would like to thank all of the staff for their loving care to her at LIFE Geisinger, Dunmore, PA. for the past two years.
She is survived by two daughters: Linda Keyasko of Carteret, NJ. and Barbara Keyasko and husband William Carr of Carbondale, PA.; one granddaughter: Alexandria Keyasko-Carr of Carbondale, PA.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Vincent and Francis Keyasko; one sister: Helen Kowalski; two brothers: Michael and Eugene Prystash.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Divine Mercy Parish/Holy Family Church, Carteret, NJ., celebrated by Rev. Ed Shallow, pastor. Interment, Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
