Anna "Nan" Hotz, 95, of Ocala, FL and Lake Lowe, PA., died August 7, 2014 at Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. She was the wife of Howard Hotz who died on April 20, 2005. They celebrated 54 years of marriage on April 29, 2004.
Born and raised in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick A. and Sadie Keough Connell. Many years ago she had been employed by Bell Laboratories in New Jersey. She and her husband had traveled and resided all over the world mainly in Saudi Arabia and Singapore due to his job as a worldwide supervisor for Saudi Aramco Oil Company.
She is survived by one sister: Rita Galloway of Forestburgh, NY; one nephew and four nieces. She was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Connell; one sister: Marjorie Fee. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 9:30 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. John C. O'Bell, pastor. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
Arrangements were under the direction of Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
