Ann B. Weber, age 76, of Union Dale, PA., died Tuesday morning, November 5, 2013. She was the wife of the late Carl E. Weber, who died April 19, 2006.
Born October 22, 1937 in Locust Gap, PA., she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Quirk) Weldon.
Ann was a 1956 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School. She worked at Bell Telephone, Philadelphia and Alumo Corporation in Mount Carmel. In her youth, she enjoyed dancing, bingo and antiquing. In her later years, she enjoyed gardening. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family.
She is survived by two daughters: Michele Weber of Wilmington, DE. and Valerie Seaman and husband Andrew of Manchester, ME.; one granddaughter: Jaime Seaman of Rumford, ME.; one brother: Thomas Weldon of Rockefeller Township, PA.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and William Weldon; three sisters: Mary and Aileen Weldon and Margaret Altmire . A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Ascension Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 741 Delaware Street, Forest City, PA., celebrated by Rev. Patrick L. Albert, pastor. Interment, Union Dale Cemetery, Union Dale, PA.
Arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
