Ann Pinzone-Malvasia age 80, of 113 Ruthland Avenue, Greenfield Twp. died Sunday evening, August 4, 2002 at the Community Medical Center, Scranton. She was the widow of Vincent Malvasia, Jr.
Born March 29, 1922 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Nancy (DeMico) Pinzone.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a member of the Lions Club and the American Legion 8-40 Club.
She is survived by one daughter: Joanne Malvasia of Cliffside Park, NJ.; two sons: Vincent Malvasia, III of Greenfield Twp., PA. and Robert Malvasia-Patruno of Greenfield Twp., PA.; two brothers: Leo Pinzone of Ridgewood, NJ. and Anthony Pinzone of Milford, PA.; 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Nieces Nephews
Preceded in death by two sons: Salvatore and Anthony Malvasia; one daughter: Nancy Malvasia; one grandaughter: Jade Malvasia; three sisters: Mary Gramglia, Ida Zaccone and Joan Hayes; five brothers: John, Joseph, Eugene, Augustine and Angelo Pinzone
The funeral was held Friday, August 9, 2002 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc. Farview and 41st Streets Carbondale with mass at 9:30 am in St. Rose Of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, Assistant Pastor. Interment, Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
Viewing was held Wednesday, August 7, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Thursday, August 8, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9.
