Ann Marie Paone, 80, of Jermyn, PA, died May 26, 2022 at Forest City Personal Care Home, Forest City, PA, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Brozina, Jr. in 1984 and her second husband, Joseph Paone, Jr. in 2018. Born July 7, 1941 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Washburn Ruane. Ann Marie was a 1959 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, and worked as an assistant dietician at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She also worked at Parodi Cigars, Scranton, PA, and in the children's and infants' department at Sugarman's, Eynon, PA. She enjoyed cooking, baking as well as, hunting and fishing with her husband, Joe. She is survived by a daughter: Colleen Brunges and husband, James; three grandchildren: Brianna Brunges, Caleb Brozina and Joshua Brozina; a great granddaughter: Magnolia Race; a sister: Mary Lou Fox; two step-daughters: Tammy Ann Kelly and Denise Lynn Ricci and husband, Edward; two step-grandchildren: Lorelle and James Paul Kowalski; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son: Joseph Brozina, III.; a granddaughter: Jasmine Brozina; and a brother: John Ruane. Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
