Ann Grizzanti, age 86, of Carbondale, PA. passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, June 6, 2004 at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Grizzanti, Sr. who died April 2, 2004. Their souls could only be parted for two short months before reuniting. They also celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2003. Born October 7, 1917 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vincenza Germaine (Guiliano) Caudullo. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. She was a faithful employee of Pizza Crust Company in Carbondale until her retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who continually supported family and friends and set an example of good morals and strong faith. Her absence will be felt by all who knew her. She is survived by: two sons: Anthony J. Grizzanti, Jr. of Carbondale, PA. and Joseph Grizzanti of Peckville, PA.; three sisters: Grace Gillott, Josephine Lopes and Germaine Cerra, all of Carbondale, PA.; 6 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nepehews The funeral was held Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell E. Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Monday, June 7, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Pallbearers: Anthony Grizzanti, III, David Grizzanti, Michael Grizzanti, Paul J. McGovern, Joseph Lopes, Charles Scavo and Francis Zimorovich.
