Ann K. Dancey, 66, of Carbondale, PA., died Monday afternoon, June 9, 2008 at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, after an illness. She was the wife of the late David Bruce Dancey. Born April 19, 1942 in North Bergen, NJ., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ann (Balko) Kraemer. She was a former resident of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey and had resided in Scranton and Carbondale for the past 19 years. While living in New Jersey, she had been employed as a medical secretary and receptionist. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by one daughter: Trudi Sona and husband Robert (Glen) of Carbondale, PA.; one son: David Bruce Dancey, Jr. of West Creek, NJ.; four grandchildren: Justine Kutch, Mandy, Anjelica and Robert (Glen) Sona. She was preceded in death by one sister: Eileen Nevelle As per her request, no services or visitation were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale.
