Angelo Perri, 51, of Carbondale, PA, died Monday afternoon, June 15, 2015 at Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA. Born March 9, 1964 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose Mary Rocco Perri. Angelo was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. For 35 years he enjoyed his hobby as a dog trainer. Angelo devoted his life to children and was a supportive foster parent to many children over the years. Angelo was instrumental in the building of the skate park on Belmont Street in Carbondale. Angelo was a loving father and grandfather, caring brother and special uncle who always put his family's needs before his own. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by three sons: Artimus Naugin of Carbondale, PA, Daniel Perri and wife Shiva of Dalton, PA Greg Perri of Simpson, PA; three grandchildren: Aylah, Gia and Gregory Perri; five brothers: Anthony Perri of Carbondale, PA, Carmine Perri and wife Jennifer of Greenfield Township, PA, James Perri and wife Patricia of Carbondale, PA, Ronald Perri and wife Marlene of Carbondale, PA and Jayson Russell of Wilkes Barre, PA; five sisters: Frances Booths and husband Russell of Waymart, PA, Amy Weber and husband Ken of Scranton, PA, Jessica Reichers, Britney and Angel Perri all of Carbondale, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son: Colin Swingle. The funeral was held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Marek Wasilewski, assistant pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
