Angelo R. Gerace, 94, of Brooklyn, NY, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Bensonhurst Center of Rehabilitation, Brooklyn, NY. He was the husband of the former Rose Mazza, a Carbondale, PA, native. Born July 6, 1920 in Italy, he was the son of the late Frank and Santa Fragomeni Gerace. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theatre with Marine Corps. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a Long Shoreman. The funeral was held Wednesday, July 8, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. from the Church Our Lady of Guadalupe, 7201 15th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
