Angela M. Turano, age 72, of Stuart FL. and Carbondale, PA., died early Monday morning, January 26, 2009 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, FL., after an illness. Born May 10, 1936 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Michael A. and Frances (Greco) Turano.She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. She was a 1954 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and worked in the local garment industry for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by one sister: Lucille Brilla-Scraggs and husband Donald of Stuart, FL.; one brother: Anthony Turano and wife Marion of Carbondale, PA.; nieces nephews.She was preceded in death by one nephew: John Brilla.The funeral was held Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA., celebrated by Rev. Russell E. Motsay, pastor. Entombment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA.
